I’m cold.

Here we go AGAIN.

Another week flew by faster than the speed of light.

Yet slow enough to wear me out.

What else is new.

Before we dive in, a little small-talk – skip to the last section if you just want to read the pieces from my Honey Copy class.

It’s been reaching below 50 degrees here, and for me, that’s cold. I understand anyone in the northern regions would see me as a pansy, but you have to keep in mind – less than a month ago it was still 90 degrees outside. Do you realize what a jump that is? From burning hot to wet and cold in the span of a few weeks.

To live in the desert requires an adaptive body that can hang in there as the weather swings unpredictively. Currently as I’m typing this, my hands feel like ice cubes. Yesterday, it randomly poured down buckets of rain for 60 seconds, then paused for 10 minutes, then poured violently for two minutes, then cleared up and was sunny the rest of the day.

But in a couple days, it’s supposed to be 80 degrees again.

For that, I’m not complaining.

Now that I’ve vented to you all about the safest and most popular filler conversation topic in the universe, onto the work week.
