The Challenges of Starting Anew

This is the first of a series of many, many blog posts wrapping up my work weeks. (Although, this first post will be more of a summary of several weeks, since I started working before I moved into Praxis Placement.)

Anyway, let’s get into it!

So, where am I currently? I’m one week into my newest freelance project, a month or so deep in two other projects, and a few months deep in the first two projects I took on.

I’m also a part of a volunteer opportunity.

Kind of crazy, I know. But I’m having a blast, and my dominantly right brain who loves having 10 different things going on at once is thriving.

Here’s a highlight of what I’ve done for them recently:

I wrote this epic blog post with Nick Rundlett and Lion Goodman.

I wrote this blog post for Evernest

I’ve written several emails for Evernest’s newsletter.

This week, I began my journey of creating a task-management system for a shared space between myself and a client in Asana

I’ve learned how to use Buffer and Squarespace to publish content for a client.

This week, I was hired to design a newsletter from scratch and manage it in MailChimp.

I created this post for Benefit.Design AND it got reposted to LinkedIn.

I’ve reached out to 200+ people on LinkedIn for a campaign.

I’m currently taking classes. Here’s what I’ve completed recently:

I completed a Photoshop LinkedIn Learning course where we learned how to create an email newsletter.

In the web development class on Udemy, we created a Simon Says game using JavaScript.

That’s all for this week! Turn in next time to see more of whatever I create.
